Artist: Jesse Fuller

Jesse Fuller was born on March 12, 1896 in Jonesboro, GA. Well known for being a one man band, Fuller played a homemade bass called the "fotdella" that was fashioned with piano strings and played with a foot pedal. Fuller’s style is similar to most Georgia bluesmen of the time, that is a Peidmont style on 12 string. Fuller did not become serious about making music until 1951 while living in the Bay Area. Before that time Fuller found himself working an extra in films being make in Los Angeles. In 1954 Fuller wrote "San Francisco Bay Blues," his most famous work.
