RX Blues (from St. Louis) was founded In 1992 by Surgeon/Musician Jose Diaz. The band is currently the musical vessel for original music in the Blues/R&B genre for Jose Diaz. The band currently has 4 CDs out and is currently working on a live CD. Their debut CD was released on the independent label "Kode Blue Records" and was titled "Rainy Days." The title song from that CD was included in the 1997 Spotlight Musical Showcase compilation CD. In 1998, their second CD "Mississippi Moses" was released. This CD was recorded at Music Masters in St. Louis, MO. Several cuts from this CD have been included in an Elite Entertainment promotional CD sponsored by Johnny Richards.This CD has received strong reviews, particularly in the Kansas City Blues Newsletter, and has received airplay all over the world.
