STS was founded in 1978 and consist of Gert Steinbäcker, Günter Timischl and Helmut Schiffkowitz. Significantly, all three members play the acoustic guitar and sing their often pensive songs in Styrian dialect. STS could also refer to the Dutch band Stokken Toetsen Snaren
