The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue is a blues and R&B "revue" band first formed for the October 2007 "Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise" from San Diego, California. As is usual in the revue format, several headliners appear with a shared backup band. Following the cruise, the Revue toured in California. 2008’s Command Performance was recorded live during this tour and features a backup band led by Tommy Castro with Magic Dick, Ronnie Baker Brooks (son of blues legend Lonnie Brooks) and Deanna Bogart. The album also includes "guest" appearances by Curtis Salgado, Marcia Ball and Elvin Bishop.
